A favorite observing site for astronomers in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. This night I would be all alone but often there are 2-10 astronomers doing visual observing or astrophotography.

Processing:
Focus Blending: Helicon Focus
Stitching: PTGui Pro version 9.0.4 (OSX)
Photoshop CS5 (file conversion only)

Panorama size:
35847x7154 pixels (0.26 gigapixels)
360deg x 68.5deg high

Input images: 36 (12 columns by 3 rows)
At least two images were taken at each position and the blended result stitched into the pano.
