This is a view looking south towards the north facing sloope of the Morro in the city of Arica, located in Northern Chile. It offers a close-up view of a typical Chinchorro burial site riddled with bone fragments, shell middens and decaying reed artifacts. The exposure is adjacent to modern housing and under theat from development pressure and random acts of vandanalism and littering.
