This is a shot of the habitat next to my house. The Gigapan was set up in an area that would normally be 4 feet under water this time of year. Due to some prolonged drought conditions I was able to set up on some spongy ground and take the shot. It is extremely interesting to see the number and variety of native sedges and grasses that colonize areas when the water level drops. It is also amazing to see how quickly the seeds germinate and new growth appears.
