This empty first century AD tomb may have been the tomb of Jesus Christ, before He was resurrected. It is located in a quiet garden, outside the northern city walls in Jerusalem. Located nearby is a rock face that bears resemblance to a skull (Golgotha). The tomb is maintained by the Garden Tomb Association (UK) www.gardentomb.org
While the archaeological veracity of this tomb belonging to Joseph of Aramathea may be challenged, this ancient site still provides visitors with peaceful calm for quiet spiritual reflection.See Wikipedia article en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garden_Tomb
