Members of Commonwealth Connections Academy's science department are working with staff from the Paleontological Research Institution, its Museum of the Earth and its Cayuga Nature Center to create a Virtual Field Environment (VFE) at and around Chickies Rock. The VFE is intended to offer opportunities for students to explore a site that is not practical for them to visit and to serve as a virtual training ground for engaging in field studies near their own homes.
