Here is Hooker Island seen from the deck of the 50 Years of Victory. You can see Sedova Station on the point of Tikhaya Bay.
The rocky mass to the right of the station is Rabini Rock, which is a remarkable land formation with lots of ledges for nesting sea birds. We approached the rock, but we did not land there.
On this deck of our ship you see some of the gadgets that are used for assessing wind speed and direction. With the helicopter in use, such details are of more than casual interest.
The 22 images of this panorama were recorded with a Nikon D80 and stitched with Autopano Pro.
Sedova Station and Rabini Rock are presented in there own panoramas on this gigapan.org site.
