This is a view from near the site of the deserted medieval village of Clopton near the existing village of Croydon in Cambridgeshire, UK. The village is thought to have been deserted in the early 16th century. This view shows the undulating field area with below the site and is taken from the Clopton Way footpath on the west side looking down towards the B1042.
