THis is the Missouri River at Omaha taken from the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge looking basicly South. On the right is Ricks Boatyard Cafe and the Port of Omaha's Miller Landing. The landing is closed and the flood gates are in. The river level at Omaha at the time of this photo sis 29.4 ft per the NWS Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service. To the left is Iowa. The trees in the water are usually on a dry island. Note the statue to the right. It is usuall not oly fully above water but on a base that is exposed as well.
