Description

This is about all I could capture on an extremely windy day. I was hoping to get a glimpse of Longleat (www.gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=7881) but it is hidden behind the hill on the left.

Update: this view is looking West. For the view to the East see www.gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=26775.

Cley comes from a Celtic word, Cleis, which is related to chalk or clay AND Clea Hills are located in Shropshire near a community named Cleybury. This is all fascinating, knowing that England is famous for several figures carved into the chalk hills.
