Description

Before we boarded our ship, we visited the Murmansk Regional Museum of Local Lore, History and Economy on Lenina Avenue. The Museum's web page states that they were founded on October 17, 1926, and that they are the oldest museum in the Murmansk region. The museum has a nice collection of artifacts from various periods in the city's history. It also has exhibits of indiginous peoples in northern Russia and local flora and fauna.

This tent with its winter gear and surveying equipment is well-labled, but alas, I cannot read Russian. If anyone who can read the labels would like to translate, I would be most grateful.

The 16 images of this panorama were captured with a Nikon D80 and stitched with Autopano Pro.
