- Description

This is a re-shoot of a section of the North Fork of the St. Lucie river which is located in Martin County, Florida. Same flow of water as seen in the original Gigapan; same section of trees as seen in the original; bird that was seen in the original has flown away. What is new is the crane. It is being used to erect a bridge over the river. But to build the access roads for the bridge, it is necessary to destroy wetlands. Our County Commissioners feel that it is better to destroy wetlands than have any voter have to “endure” a 10-minute wait in traffic. Of course, since there are traffic lights at each end the voters will wait anyway.
