A View Like No Other
To date this is the worlds largest composite image of Las Vegas. This was shot from the 61st floor of the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
The sunbathers, people in cafes, taxis and limousines. The image captures Las Vegas on a warm sunny day. And seeing the Bellagio water feature "turned off" from the 61st floor with sun shining into the water allows you to see the hundreds of high pressure water nozzles used to create the stunning water shows.
It was the last weekend of Spring Break in Las Vegas so parties were poolside.

I want to thank the management of the Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino, with a special thanks going to Ms. Kristina Kolk. They went out of there way to help us to help us to make this shoot happen. And a plug goes out to this stunning hotel - on your next visit to Las Vegas consider staying at this very "Cosmopolitan" Hotel and Resort.

I would like to hear your thoughts on this image.

thank you
Bill Bailey

Shot with a 300 mm prime. It took several attempts over 2 weekends. Pentax makes excellent lenses and I used their 645D. thx

Really like your Vegas panos. How are you (and Gerald) able to get such consistantly sharp images? Is it your lens that makes the biggest difference? Keep up the good work!

I have to plug the Cosmopolitan - not only for the best views in town but for the food (the buffet is one of the best I have ever had), nightlife, pools, staff and management.

You certainly picked a great location Bill. Fabulous shot, and all the more exciting because I'm going there on holiday in 3 weeks :)
