I'm disappointed with the results of this gigapan and I'd like to re-shoot it sometime, but I decided to post it anyway. It was starting to get dark out so I had to bump my ISO up to 800 and the shutter speed was only 1/100th. The camera was on a tripod but a handful of images still got some pretty significant motion blur. I shot a similar gigapan of this building back in April 2009 (gigapan.org/gigapans/40163/). It's like a giant game of "spot the difference" trying to find all the changes in the intervening two years (new or changed graffiti, newly broken windows, etc).
Shot with a Canon T2i / 550D and Canon 100mm f2.8 Macro lens at f9.0 April 23, 2011.

fetching snapshots...

Thanks odyssey! That's pretty cool. There is another gigapan from 2009 that another user shot (gigapan.org/gigapans/21418/). That one is looking pretty much straight at the center of the building, so you may get a better 3D effect trying to blend that one with one of mine. The two I shot are pretty far apart. I plan to return here and re-shoot this gigapan with a 200mm lens and hopefully avoid the motion blurring this time. I'm thinking of trying to shoot that one from the same position as my 2009 gigapan for a pretty direct comparison. It would be cool to be able to compare them side-by-side though with the interface you linked to.

Interesting comparison. Here is a fun comparison , pseudo 3D (good in places) - be sure to press the 'change view' button in upper right hand. This presents a synchronized view of two different years www.3d-360.com/3d/75776-40163-18-1 4
