Taken from the Observation Deck of the Mississippi Welcome Center on I-20 looking west toward Louisiana. The bridge on the right is the old Hwy 80 bridge, and it is no longer in use for vehicular traffic. However the railroad tracks are still used regularly by long freight trains. The bridge on the left is the I-20 bridge, but not much traffic was caught on it in this shoot. This was taken before mid-morning and there was a breeze causing constantly changing light conditions because the clouds caused numerous shadows as they were blown about. The barge that can be seen is not as long as it appears in this photo. The speed of the barge and the speed of the Gigapan unit were close to each other so many images of the barge were captured as the photo was recorded.
