Comments on Gigapan: Bow River Spring Breakup 2011

  2. Ice covering the Bow River at Calgary broke up about a day before this Gigapan was shot. Still lots of ice along the riverbanks but the main channel is clear and water levels that rose when ice impeded water flow have fallen significantly. All as per usual for spring.
