The Gigapan was made made on March 23, 2011 at Alstrom Point overlooking Lake Powell. Alstrom Point is about 25 miles off Hwy 89. It's an incredible view, as you can see, but you need a high clearance all or 4-wheel drive vehicle to drive to the end. In lieu of driving you can hike the last half to mile to get to the overlook, and what an overlook it is.
