Description

Sometime in early March 350 National Honey Bee Survey sampling kits were moved out of our living room and transported to the USDA Bee Research Lab in Beltsville, MD.

As of now there are 500 unconstructed kits lying around ready to be manufactured.

We have all of the components of the kits prepared for installation into the live bee boxes. Now it is just a matter of putting all of the pieces together.

Our goal is to have all 500 sampling kits made and moved out of our house by the end of April.

This panorama shows me working at the table amidst the rubble and debris of the National Honey Bee Survey.

At the time the images were taken I was answering emails and annotating Gigapans for blogs on our website @ beeinformed.org.

Feel free to visit our website to learn more about the project (which is different than the National Honey Bee Survey) and those involved.
