Będzin is a town located in Śląskie Voivodeship (Province), southern Poland, in the centre of the Upper Silesian Industrial Area - one of the most important cultural, academic and economic centres in Poland. Będzin is one of the oldest towns of Dąbrowa Basin (Zagłębie Dąbrowskie).
