Last night there was a firefight as Taliban attacked Afghan checkpost(s). This Taliban was killed and put on public display at the "steeple," which steeple amounts to a traffic circle in a village of unpaved dust and rock. The people were thickly crowded around the body but stepped back while I made quick photos. The place is very tense and the journey to Chora was dangerous. Not a nice place...
