Description

Finally some decent weather! I've planned this particular one for about 2 months now, but we've had such terrible weather that it was moot in trying. Finally, today, we had some sunshine. The gigapan is taken from the top of the Kaufhof building at the end of the Zeil pedestrian zone, basically on the 8th floor. Taken around 10:30 in the morning, the light had faded into the usual Frankfurt haziness by noon, so this was a good time. I think I have to get there significantly earlier in the morning to get the sunrise colors, but this worked well. There is a second one coming along as well...

Technical information:

Lens is the Leica Telyt-R APO 180 f3.4. All photos were taken as is from the camera, there has been no manipulation or changes at all. The Gigapan Epic 100 (first version) was used.
