Gigapan Pro + Canon 7D + 18-55...

After Plaza Nueva (www.gigapan.org/gigapans/70341/ ) we headed along the river to this charming spot. I thought it would be exceptionally hard to capture this scene and I was quite right about that. Never mind the extreme contrast, but Autopano had a real problem with the stitching. Note to self: shoot this scene at sunset not sunrise.

Good question. It does look a bit like it was taken at midnight in the far north when the sun does not set at night, or during an eclipse. Er. Which is was, sort of. So in fact this image is a complete success - hooray! :-) I think it was lunchtime. I like Chris's idea of read-only coffee, but I doubt it is very refreshing. He is quite right about the price though. You might expect cafe owners to charge huge amounts of money for coffee served in this fine location but they don't.

what time of day was this taken? I see that you are up to you old habits of taking superior spherical panoramas :) Good job with this one ... I am impressed.

Another strange one Mr. Kilgore661. Lovely spot for a coffee, lovely Spanish espresso coffe, and its even readonably priced.
