Looking from Wormit bay up the Tay estuary towards Errol and further west.
The old boathouse is used by many fishermen as a spot to cast from now and local teenagers use it as a secluded point for bonfires at the weekends. Up until a few years ago the point had a wrecked boat sitting on the sand-dune, however it has now subsided enough that is unseen at low tide.
Another interesting fact is this has been the point many headstrong drivers have been stuck at when attempting offroad motoring to Balmarino at low tides. This is down to the width at the rock point between solid ground and silt.
