Description

This is part of the north fork of the St. Lucie river in Martin County, Florida. It was taken from the boardwalk of the Kiplinger Preserve conservation area. A pelican sits atop the post next to the manatee speed zone sign. Red mangroves IRhizophora mangle) and cabbage palms (Sable palmetto) are seen on the river banks.
