In many ways this is a retake of gigapan.org/gigapans/26923/ another El Capitan shot I've done.
However . . .
This shot was in winter, so you're not likely to find any climbers. ( feel free to look )
This shot was taken slightly to the east and isn't quite as wide of a field of view.
Completely different set of equipment. This shot is a much higher resolution and should have significantly better image quality.

This shot was taken as I was driving out of the Valley after a weekend of camping at Camp 4. It had snowed the night before and everything was covered in snow and it was COLD!! 1728 images taken over the course of a 1 hour 10 minute shoot. Despite the warm jacket and gloves I was wearing, I was shivering by the end. Yes, I have a vignette problem. I haven't found a tool that will properly correct it for this lens.
