A city sponsored Christmas Tree brightens the Hermosa Beach Promenade on a chilly December evening.
each exposure in this image took between 1 - 3 seconds. To get around the GigaPan advancing too quickly, I disconnected the triggering lever and fired and manually advanced each shot individually. That allowed time for my camera software to download each shot.
Made up of 54 shots the full image took approximatley 15 minutes to shoot allowing for pausing the device while waiting for people to move out of the shot. ©John Post / www.johnpost.com
