A late afternoon shot of Heart Mountain, a limestone formation north of Cody, Wyoming, USA, taken from the homesite of some friends. The camera was located right on the hydrologic divide between Skull Creek on the left of the image and Cottonwood Creek on the right. The center of the image is looking east at the top of Heart Mountain. The field of view is about 330-degrees.
14 vertical frames, taken on a Canon T2i with an 18-55 mm lens set at 18mm, stitched in Photoshop CS4, cropped and processed for contrast. Final JPEG file size is .05582 gigabytes.
