    Description:

    This plastic bags hold two unused sample vials. The 50 ml. tube gets frozen bees while the 250 ml. Nalgene bottle gets bees in alcohol.

    Description:

    This sample bottles contains about 300 bees sampled from a frame with sealed brood on it. In theory it contains a sample of "nurse bees".

    Description:

    This beekeper utilized 8 frame equipment which is rare for us to come across. Most beekeeper run 10 frame equipment. It seemed to be working for him, his bees looked good.

    Description:

    Lightly smoking the bees will help contol their behavior so that the frames of the hives can be manipulated. I've had some beekeepers tell me that a smoker can be your most important tool in the hive...
