Another fun macro-pano. Looks like I'll need manual focus at each frame, though. :^(
I knocked over the board before I could try - a big mess. Will make a new face and try it again.How many plant families can you identify? Hint - 12 - unless I missed any. A few are fairly difficult.
The salt in the salt & pepper hair is garlic granules - would not expect any ID on that one - Alliaceae.
I'll post the rest of the list at the end of the week.First to name them all gets one good on ya! ;^)

Tiga, thanks for the link! Senor Arcimboldo was not my inspiration, but could well have been. My father, grandfathers, uncles, & great uncles were all exceptional gardeners - it's in the blood (Palmieri to Palmer). I'd grow my own vegetables if I had the yard in which to do so. I made the composition as a teaching tool for introductory ethnobotany. See also the link provided above by Kilgore661. And I'll get back to the pizza and alphabet soup soon, too.

I love this gigapan for its combination of serious research into macrogigapanography and almost absurd silliness of subject matter although in respect of the latter gigapan.org/gigapans/66394/ is even better. I assume the purpose of your research is to create superior gigapans of pizzas? (Cf gigapan.org/gigapans/5988/)
