I went to the Houston Museum of Science and tried to take a panorama and after seeing the difficulty that I experienced in my meager attempt, I am more impressed with what Tom has accomplished. All I have to show from my great effort is a simple outdoor panorama of the zoo train: www.gigapan.org/gigapans/66550/

Excellent work Tom. I know from experience it can be very hard work getting a shot like this done when one does not work at the institution concerned. I assume you had to work through all manner of issues from Health and Safety in a World Gone Mad (very popular in the UK right now) to copyright to public liability to ... Or did you just sneak in when the guy on the door wasn't looking? :-)

Another extraordinary GigaPan Tom! This should make all the other science museums here in the States very envious and next week, I will go to the Houston Museum of Natural Science (www.hmns.org/index.php?option=com_ content&view=article&id=56& ;Itemid=8
) and show them your
GigaPan. They have seen my series. Maybe one day
you and I will meet in a museum :)
