Japanese Garden at the MFA by Bruce Perry

Canon Powershot SX 100 IS

I had to take this image twice. People were walking by blocking a few of the individual shots. Where there were blocked images in the second series, I substituted non-blocked images from the first series.

I may have to give the garden another try when lighting conditions are more even. There was a lot of contrast and some major features in the dark areas have been lost (including the top of a stone pilar).

Note: the Gigapan was set to the wrong field of view for this image. In light of that, the stitcher's efforts to make sense of it all can only be called heroic.
