Description

Spikelets are the flowering parts of grasses. This 15 picture image was shot with a Canon 49D linked to a 20X microscope. The spikelet which measures 25mm X 10mm was placed on an X-Y stage and manually moved in 5mm steps. For information about grasses in Florida visit the website: http://floridagrasses.org/index.htm
