Amazing wide view of the virigin river basin just north of lake meed. Shot from the Mormon Mesa overlook outside of Overton, NV. We will be establishing a "phenocam" research tower here this winter to examine the effects of the biocontrol Tamarisk beetle on tamarisk in this area. The tower will have two 5 megapixel network cameras and a gigavision gigapixel timelapse camera. Data will be stramed over a cellular network. This reserch is funded by the USGS.
