From camera position, Sentinel Pass is to the North and Larch Valley to the South. Both landmarks are Southwest of Lake Louise townsite, Alberta, Canada. Beyond the larch trees shown are the Ten Peaks - as in Valley of the Ten Peaks - some of which here are hidden in clouds. In the other direction is a hiking trail which zig-zags up a rubble slope to Sentinel Pass.
