These apple trees produce fruit that are consumed by a variety of animals throughout the fall and winter. Through some combination of observations of the animals themselves or of their scat or tracks, there is evidence of the following animals feeding on the fruit and/or twigs and leaves: coyotes, fox, bear, deer, moose, turkeys and cedar waxwings.
