Description

Aquatic Park in San Francisco. This is a restitched version using Microsoft ICE. This version removes a few stitching errors and ghosts that were present on the old panorama.

I used a Nikon D700 with a 400mm f/5.6 lens shot with a Gigapan Epic 100 (yes, the 100 and not the Pro).

Here's the original version: www.gigapan.org/gigapans/58831/

Thanks. I'm glad you like it. the 400mm lens I used is a Nikkor 400mm f/5.6 AIs. It's an old, manual lens but it was the perfect weight and size for the Gigapan. An ounce more and the system would fail. Here are pictures of the unit as I was taking this picture. www.flickr.com/photos/nathantw/672 3677991/in/photostream Will open in

I like your picture. How could you possibly mount a Nikon D700 and a 400mm lens on an Epic 100? Who was the mfg of that 400mm lens?

Where in the World is this GigaPan?
