Port Grimaud a la Turka by Udo Hinnerkopf

Alacati is on the Cesme peninsula about 80 km southwest of Izmir.
The highlight of the coast is the emerging next to the lagoon idyll Alaçati Marina Port Grimaud à la Turka, following the example of Port Grimaud on the French Mediterranean coast. Model are Venetian houses in pastel colors of Provence. A network of canals, bridges, streets and squares with sidewalk cafes, runs through the colorful place. 1200 houses are planned, a showpiece of 143 houses is already realized and sold, 90 more will be built in the next year. With the planned golf course and a German university the entire project should be finished in 2020.
