It is not just a big picture, is a moment of country life, with people, architecture and vegetation that make what is San Pellegrino Terme
Images gipan always arouse fascination and amazement, but unfortunately the images are devoid of content or do not add significant than the classic shot, I think that this technique should be a means, not an end.
Making an image gigapan, just to make it big, it's a waste of time and resources.
Making unnatural postcards to 180 ° can be used to create beautiful landscapes, but too often is a technique used only to put more shots in the final scene, creating a final composition unpleasant and unnatural.
said these circumstances, I explain why I made this picture.
The aim is to describe a country, a country is made of 3 components:
1) vegetation
2) Architecture
3) Country Life
The first two can be described with a classic shot, but the life of the country in its entirety is very difficult to observe.
You could photograph the fisherman on the bridge with the mountains behind, but it is certainly a reality other than tourists eating ice cream on a bench.
The only way to catch them all together was determined to create an image so you can capture all these realities together.
was born another huge U.S. problem, obtain the required resolution I should be so close to having to make a 180 °, convenient solution but it would cripple the architectural lines and natural landscape.
I decided to get away for only 30 ° of visual field, and climbed a telescope instead of the telephoto lens to get the magnification.
That is how the idea for this shot, you can see:
Family Cycling
older people who watch the river
boys kissing
Tourists who take the coffee
fishermen
motorcyclists
cyclists who train
elders who settle in the garden
details of the monuments
and more ...
Have fun

Thank you very much, really ... I'm in rehab for two years by accident, if it were not for photography (in general, not just this), I would become crazy. Ti do un indizio sui loghi, in proporzione (rispetto a quel che sta attorno) sono alti: 2 metri, 1.5 metri, e 1 metro (5 feet, 4 feet, 2 feet)

Theselph Thanks so much, you're very kind, but I think it is not talent, I think it's just wanted to do and then I find photography very funny :-)
