This full 360 degree panorama was taken during the follow up fall visit to the Glacier Index monitoring site. Go full screen mode and get a sense of what it is like to stand on one of these big valley glaciers coming off of Denali.
Compare to my panorama taken from the same location in May 2010 (gigapan.org/gigapans/49981) for seasonal changes. Note there was ~5 cm of new snow here covering glacier ice.
