    Mammoth Hot Springs are located on the north west corner of the park. It rise up from the ground. This place is flat instead. Actually it is about in the middle of the rim drive.

    Actually, these are the terraces of Mammoth Hot Springs, next to the YNP headquarters at Mammoth. Norris Geyser Basin is about 18 miles south of Mammoth.
