It's a nice library ... a place to cherish if you can gain admittance.

I know you visit the library and are probably a world-class athlete and a respected mud engineer, but are you a student? Or is the library open to the general public?

There are surprises all over campus, which makes Rice very special and highly rated, but at the same time, very difficult to gain admission ... can you imagine a football or any sports team made up of valedictorians (maybe not exactly, but close to it)? In other words; Rice will only accept a multi-dimensional student, so if you were very good at playing football, you also have to be an exceptional student in the class room and a big plus would have to graduated first in your class. Shepherd School of Music has extraordinarly high requirements to play musical instruments.

The article in the Flyleaf is quite interesting. I can see why you're such a fan of of the library - apart from the fact it is a place to get books of course :-)

Brochstein is a wonderful place for the students to relax, rewind, study, drink refreshments and eat snacks, and this article, actually the issue of Rice Flyleaf explains all: tinyurl.com/BrochsteinPavillion001
Also, we have seen the Pavillion a number of times
in previous GigaPans and will see it again since
it is such a lovely place: www.gigapan.org/searchGigapansList.

This looks like a nice spot to relax. I can see people inside sat at tables. Is this somewhere you can get refreshments?
