Description

A side view of a (cooled) lava flow in the Mojave Desert.

Taken on March 29 during a Spaceward Bound expedition. The site was chosen as a test location for a small remote science rover called the Max5 (not visible in this panorama). Shot from a nearby sand ridge using a Canon SX1200SI camera.
