Description

Hambledon Hill is a prehistoric hill fort in Dorset, England, situated in the Blackmore Vale five miles north of Blandford Forum. The hill is a Chalk outcrop, on the south western corner of Cranborne Chase, separated from the Dorset Downs by the River Stour.

Photographer Note:
After a steep climb walking up Hambledon Hill from the village of Child Okeford I set up my GIGAPAN on the highest point. Late afternoon and it was very windy. I took 2 panorama shoots with the same settings as the sky was washed out and the landscape was very dark (sun in the clouds).
