Hello, for those who are interested this Giga pan was made with a Nikon D3 and a 300MM Lens mounted on a Giga Pan Epic Pro unit . AlI settings were on manual as recommended, the sun was coming in and out behind cloud so that accounts for a couple of dark spots. Even with a 300MM lens I could only get 140 Shots so it is quite small by Giga Pan standards. I am a Photographer with www.perthnow.com.au
in Perth Western
Australia. The Giga pan was produced to a deadline
so there was no time to think about removing
anomalies as they are called, some people think
that this adds a little humour to such an event.
It is the first time that I have made a Giga Pan
at Subiaco oval and thanks goes to the AFL and the
West Australian Football Commission for allowing
permission for us to make this Giga Pan possible.
There are not many locations at the ground where
there is no risk of someone walking in front of
the camera while an exposure is being made.
However I am looking at some different angles for
the next big game. KERRIS BERRINGTON
