Had to try an up-close on this outcrop - there's a lovely pink pegmatite vein (2-3 inches in width) running through the metamorphic rocks here. I've been looking for some contact metamorphism features, but haven't found anything - yet.
A little lesson in exposure - the rocks to the left of center were in shadow, and those pictures were take with the sun behind a cloud. The shiny foliation surfaces to the right were in sunlight. This misbalance completely confused the stitching software - I had to alter the 'exposure' of the left few columns of images (via iPhoto) to get a stitched image.
