Comments on Gigapan: Opgraving van een rivieraak uit 956 a.d. - Leidserijn - Utrecht

This early medieval ship (956 A.D.) was found during excavations near Utrecht, the Netherlands. Most of the ship is still hidden underground. After some speedy research by the archeologists today, the ship has been covered with sand again for preservation purposes.
