Icebergs, calved from Grinnell Glacier, float in Upper Grinnell Lake, Glacier National Park, Montana. Glacier retreat in Glacier National Park is being studied and documented by the Climate Change in Mountain Ecosystems program of the USGS. Visit this USGS website to see the results of glacier studies and repeat photographs of many of Glacier National Park's glaciers.
