Description

Panorama of Chute Montmorency from the pedestrian bridge over the end of the Montmorency River as it empties into the St Lawrence Seaway. These falls are 84 meters high - 30m higher than Niagra Falls. Named by Samuel de Champlain in the honour of Henri II, duc de Montmorency - viceroy of New France from 1620-1625.
