Crane - Gdansk port crane perched between the pylons of the gate. It is one of the branches of the Central Maritime Museum in Gdansk.
At present, the crane was built in the years 1442-1444. He served primarily as a device port for cargo loading and ballast on the ships and putting their masts. The device was able to increase the weight of four tonnes to a height of eleven meters. Mechanism are two drums with a diameter of about six meters. As a driving force for people used their feet inside these drums.
