On the drive from Hays, Kansas to Dinosaur National Monument, Douglas Pass is definitely one of the high points (pun intended). The Fort Hays State University Geology Summer Field Camp makes a stop here each summer to observe the landslide activity (at left) and the strata of the Eocene Green River Formation exposed in the roadcuts here. For more information about our field camp see: hays.outcrop.org/GSCI454
