Night shot under University Ave at 4th Ave, Berkeley. Brennan's restaurant and bar on the left, Spenger's Grotto on the right.
Used a 3 second self timer, so camera jitter would settle down, and a 1.6 second exposure.
I (finally!) turned off image stabilization, and I think that makes a different.
I also spent time fiddling with the white balance. I had a calibration target with me, but I ended up taking some test shots and looking at them in the display and decided that 'Daylight Fluorescent' was the effect I liked.
